Fast, secure money transfers — built by our community, for our community
At GlobalMax Remit Inc, we understand the importance of convenient online money transfer. We are a Baltimore-based company dedicated to fast, secure and affordable money transfers from the United States to West Africa — so more of every dollar reaches the family it was meant for.
Our vision
To become the most trusted money transfer brand for the West African diaspora in the United States — online and in the neighbourhood.
Our mission
To make sending money home to West Africa fast, safe and affordable, so more of every dollar reaches the family it was meant for.
Why we started GlobalMax
We were started by members of the West African community who were tired of high fees, poor exchange rates and long queues. We built GlobalMax to be the service we wanted for our own families: honest prices, real people on the phone, and money that arrives in minutes.
What we stand for
- Honesty — the rate you see is the rate you get
- Security — every customer verified, every dollar tracked
- Community — we serve the people we come from
- Speed — money that arrives in minutes
